Wednesday 27th.
Chores in preparation for visitors; food prep; room prep; some last minute
laundry. Then welcome to Pam and Noel
and a leisurely meal which stretched into the evening. For the record, a melon and prosciutto salad,
lasagne and garden salad, a cheese board and then pan-fried Ontario peaches
with caramelised honey and ice cream.
Pretty darned good.
Thursday, 28th.
A relatively early start (big, cooked breakfast) to a very indolent day. It rained heavily most of the day so books,
screens, idle chat, lunch.
Then down to la Conception for supper at Resto 1939. Lovely.
