Teleportation?

At home in the UK, 24 hours after leaving 107, it's as if we've stepped from one existence to another.  Big thanks to Audrey for the drive to the airport.

Amazing how much you can fit into a last morning!

Cleaning, of course, but wire fences for the poor hydrangeas that the deer fed on so persistently; the little trailer into the basement to restore over the winter; delivery of the quad (4476km on the clock) to Gilles for the winter; an unknown quad driver coming up our trail - looking for Claude Lanthier (who was working over the road from us); finally delivering the fridge contents to neighbours ......

All closed up - see you in the winter.

Routine flight home; supper at Moe's in the airport; eyemasks from take-off, no flight supper, no booze.  We actually slept some.  We landed early at Gatwick and managed to arrange an earlier coach to Bristol, saving two hours.  We slept on and off all the way back and then caught the X1 bus (free with our bus-passes) directly to home.

The garden is beautifully tidy, the cyclamen are in full bloom.

Our "other" life re-starts.
