OK - so Monday we had to go to St Jovite for a few bits and pieces; none of which we eventually bought - but we have a clearer idea now (Don't you hate shopping!). However, we took the opportunity to go to the Sushi bar for lunch. Great! As pleasant a welcome as ever and yummy grub........ Otherwise, we even went to Canadian Tire and only bought sunflower seeds for the birds. Amazing.
Two walks today - laying in a short, new trail to take us down into the swamps a bit.... And a revisit of the tougher, back-trail to Christmas tree- plantation fence one that Ali broke a couple of days ago.
Deeeep snow in the wood; three feet in places, with lots of animal tracks that suspiciously end at holes next to trees or piles of brush-wood.......
But the silence is touchable.
