We've decided that we've had enough of the jungle green walls and ceiling in our bedroom - so we've started decorating.
Which is never as easy as it seems is it?
The ceilings have settled, which means dealing with the cracks at the joins with fibreglass tape and trying to learn to skim plasterboard (dry-wall). Then the chinking in the three layers of log that show had powdered, so we've re-done that, and varnished the logs afterwards.
Now it's just one more coat on the ceiling crack / join and we can start to paint things!
I dunno - I knew we wouldn't last! :-)
Very cold last night (-24) and tonight (-14; better!); have to wake up at 02.15 tomorrow morning to watch Katharine Eustace slide for New Zealand in the first heats of the skeleton at Sochi......
