.... one step back :-(
The two steps forward are a wonderful morning spent in the meadow. Not only do we now have a "quad" of our own, but we previously bought a trailer (remorque) from the previous owner. We never really thought that it would work - but it does! And the hauling of golden-rod to the great compost heap in the wood behind the house got a whole lot easier!
Which, considering the humidity today was a real God-send.
Everywhere you go in the meadow the place clicks and jumps and buzzes with insect life; no butterflies but bees and wasps and grasshoppers a plenty. It's stunning.

Mark and Janice came for supper- a very happy affair that Ali cooked.
And the one step back? The priming coat of resin on the inside of the outwhales for the little boat has failed to cure - mis-measured is my guess. So I had to clean all that off. And then do a trial mix - which worked. So tomorrow we can try to glue them on!

10.20 at night and the fly screens are on; the windows open behind them and the fans whirling. Hot and humid!
